Utilizing a centrifugal blower, the Vektor-CD is ideal for systems requiring horizontal exhausts or systems with extreme pressures (in excess of 8 in. wg). The efficient backward inclined wheel helps to reduce energy consumption while maintaining low sound levels. Vektor-CD also includes the high plume dilution nozzle and windband to entrain ambient air which assists in diluting the laboratory exhaust effluent and maximizes the plume rise. Vektor-CD models are available in belt or direct drive and can be configured as single fan systems, multiple parallel fan systems, or opposed fan systems. Energy recovery packages are available to further improve the laboratory's operating efficiency.
Advantages
- Designed to withstand up to 125 mph windloads without guide wires
- AMCA certified air, sound, and induced fan flow performance (third party verification)
- Available in belt and direct drive configuration
- Configurable in single, double, triple, and quad systems
- Single source responsibility
Design Features
- Meets ANSI Z9.5, NFPA 45, and ASHRAE Chapter 44 lab design guidelines
- Efficient operation for reduced energy consumption
- Performance capabilities - 500 cfm to 100,000 cfm; up to 14 in. wg per fan
- Ideal for horizontal air intake applications
- Uses backward curved flat blade and airfoil blade technology
